Another stunning coin! Thanks t360.

Growing up with American coins and their "static" portraits (Lincoln looks the same on a 1909 as he does on a 1959), it was a great novelty to see portraits of European sovereigns as they age. The changes to Elizabeth II's portraits on UK and commonwealth coins are far more subtle than what we see in these 17th century coins. Chalres XI of Sweden was 16 years old and Charles II of Spain was just 10 on 1c5d's token in yesterdays examples of 1671.

I grew up with American coins only, but have recently discovered an affinity for world coins due to the variety.
