Hi,
I found a 1974 penny with a different S on the back in the word STATES on the back. Just curious. The first S looks very different than the other one and it looked different than the one on a different than the other two 1974 penny's that I have. thanks

It was caused by a slight Grease Filled Die. Although, this is very common and doesn't add a premium to your coin.
