I found this Penny can anyone tell me what it is what I know is it weighs 2 1/2 grams and there are no scratch Marks no date no mint mark and most all the other lettering is missing. Can anyone help with this what is it and is there any valoe.

To CCF! This is an easy one. It was Struck Through Grease (AKA Grease Filled Die). You have a extreme example, so it would be worth a premium over face value. Very nice find and congratulations! http://www.error-ref.com/struck-thr...-grease-oil/
