Looking for confirmation on this coin. I believe this is a partial collar strike. First one I've pulled from a roll.

It looks more like a defective collar broadstrike. There shouldn't be a indent in the edge, on a broadstrikr or partial broad strike (railroad rim), the collar isn't up, or fully up. There was a portion there on one side but other was damaged/collapsed. Interesting error for sure..

Yes, you're correct. Very nice find and congratulations!

I remember finding two 1987 P LMC's CRH, that had a Partial Collar error.

Is there an actual indent on the edge or is it just a step from normal to a wider circumference opposite side? I can't tell.

Hope this helps. Half of the rim around the coin is unremarkable. The remaining half looks like a rail rim. It steps out.
