I was given this as change at the store and was wondering about this mark on the reverse side. I hope I said that right. The Mark is on the top left side of the building. I was wondering if it happened before or after leaving the mint. Thanks

First of all, that's a nice catch in change!

As to your question, it looks like a small lamination flaw near the top left side of Monticello. I don't believe it adds any value, though, because it is very minor.

It is a LAM , or lamination error. Common in the wartime nickels, yours is on the minor side of things...

But I'd wait for the pros to chime in...

This is one I found that was decent... to say the least!
