Some various lots of random stuff acquired recently. Better pics of the SLQ will be posted in Moe's new thread when it gets to 1930. The 1923 Peace is an S mint; the 1934, a D. USA halves and all the foreign silver were bought at bullion price, or less. I have a winter's worth of sorting to do.   |

I bought these two coins on ebay. They were offered for 'Buy it now' and the total price was 31 €. Thats what I call bargain. Both types are new to my collection of Prussian coins. The first one is a Prussian 1764 1/6 Thaler, minted in Berlin. The coin shows some planchet errors but these are common for Thaler fractionals of that era. Still a solid VF in my opinion.   The second one is a Prussian 1771 Thaler, minted in Breslau. It looks like it has been cleaned at some point but when I can buy that type of coin for such an amazing price I do not really care.   |
