Surprise!! Bought 3 coins from one dealer at the coin show in S. Williamsport PA today and I got a 39S for 3 bucks in a bargain box. I got a fair discount off the prices shown. The 38D has nice step detail and I feel is MS65 same with the 40D. I also bought a 1953 proof and a 39S I needed these like a hole in the head but what the heck. They are nice.

Yeah and yesterday I said to my wife ... I think I have bought my last nickel except for when the new ones come out! Not that she minds, but doh! I gotta stop talking crazy like that.

Yeah, my other half says to me "I thought that was it for awhile". I always pound the point what great investments these are! Coin collectors. I love it!

Is that a toning/rainbow in the picture on the Morgan? Did you buy it for that or just happened that way? I love that series of coins!

I forked out $1.94 recently for this Light-Medium Cameo MS65 ish 1966 Special Mint Set Jefferson nickel. The reverse is just as good as the obverse, with almost full steps. Nice snag there Mr Whisker, Love that toning on the Morgan!

Wonderful condition for 1807! What was the mintage figure for that coin? You would be extremely hard pressed to locate a US copper of that condition. Oh and welcome to the forum lilaznkev1n!
