Goldrush, no such thing a a coin not worthy! I have my pennies from when I was a 10 year old and would never dream of getting rid of them. They took all of my allowance to save for and keep them in my Whitman folders. I save coins from all over the world too, and while they are not expensive, they are history....

This came today. I like these old commems especially when they have a low mintage. Why can we not make them like this anymore?

I've been buying a lot of older copper coins. US large cents:1816, 1848, 1849, 1850, 1851, 1852 Indian head cents:1862, 1865, 1873, 1885 Newfoundland small cents: 1938, 1941, 1942, 1943 (thanks), 1944 1871 Prince Edward Island one cent 1861 New Brunswick one cent 1854 Bank of Upper Canada one penny token Here are a few photos of some I've picked up. 1851 large cent  1871 Prince Edward Island large cent  1854 Bank of Upper Canada penny token  Lately I've discovered the joys of Canadian provincial coins and pre-confederation penny and half penny tokens. They're great, and plan on getting more. Ken

Got this beauty from a CCF auction. Came while I was out of town last week, been chomping at the bit to get home and check it out.

Had to upgrade this one as the deal on this was too good to ignore. So now a MS 63 goes into the box while this goes into the case for display. See how fickle we are?

Here is my latest buy. The lighting in the picture is terrible. The coin looks WAY better in hand. Anyway, didn't have any mexican coins and this caught my eye.

Found a great deal of 50 1962 proof sets for 1060 shipped...........that comes out to below melt for PROOF silver coins! I jumped on it and sold some circulated silver I had to pay for this. Got the proof sets yesterday and the majority of them are still unopened! Yay!
