I have a little suggestion to this post: It would be nice if the buyer post the price of the coin purchase and general source (ie: ebay, local shop, fellow CCF, etc); however, if you are not comfortable with listing such detail information then a general market price range would be nice. My reason is with those additional information, the reader to this thread not only enjoy the coins but at the same time can have some reference regarding price (especially true for unique coins) and reliable/trustworthy seller/supplier. Just my little thought.

Ummm? ... or maybe you could merely send an e-mail to the buyer if you are interested in a specific coin? => for I myself, would rather not show what I paid for my coins (good or bad) ... to me, the price is not the important and/or the interesting part of coin-collecting ... ... and even more importantly => then I'd never be able to use those coins in jbuck's GTP quiz!

You are correct, Steve. Knowing the purchase price would be nice, but then others would know how much money you are spending - which is private for the other game and for personal reasons.
I already think Stevex6 makes tons of money, but blows too much for his coin collection. He can't help it. If I saw what he paid for his acquistions, I would tease him every day because I could have gotten a better deal than him. He is not a good buyer, but he can not help himself.
Without a price showing, we can still drool over the coins and just imagine what they paid for it and what it's value would be down the road. Now, MOE is an excellent buyer.... he buys the best coins for way under value. He knows how to shop. Steve could learn from him.

wow Cajun ... ya lil' judger, you ... ... but you're probably correct? => I'm sure that Moe is a very sound businessman ... and I'm also sure that I drink way too much, I make way too much cash, and I spend money like I've only got seconds to live! => ... ten, nine, eight ...

Eh-heh-eheh => oh my, I've apparently made a few more random, unknown-value purchases ... ooops! (golly, is my face red) ... anyway ... ... but thanks for bringing-up the subject, Cajun, for I was a bit curious => ummm, am I spending too much for my new coin purchases? (I haven't received my "price-book" yet) ... => oh, and lady0 is 100% correct in the fact that I still buy random coins, no matter what the consequences => yippee-ceyahhh! ... anyway ... Here is today's purchase question: => I bought 5 coins, 4 of them are apparently "graded" ... regardless, I spent $225 (delivered) for all 5 of these coins ... ummm, is this a bad deal, an okay deal, or a good deal ... => oh, and for the record jbuck => nobody will ever know the "individual" value of any of these 5 coins ... right? regardless ... here we go, go, go, go! ... Coin #1 Coin #2 Coin #3 Coin #4 Coin #5

thanks dawg ... yah man, I absolutely love these new coins!
sadly, I have totally neglected the other-side of my coin collection lately (geeesh, the last 13 coins have been ancients) ... oh well, I guess the first few hundred weren't ancient, so it's all good?
