Found 1972 D LMC With Mint Damage Still In Package.

Looks like the coin was not aligned correctly when it was being heat sealed in the package.

Looks like it was damaged when the set was sealed. Bummer.

Darned good point llewellin .
PSD and PMD have pretty much always had a theoretic difference.
I cant remember seeing a definite PSD example like this before.
Highly recommend letting this one stay in the mint cello !

I recall a thread with a similar damage caused by the sealing machine.
I agree. Certainly a curiosity worth holding on to.
