I'm curious how this changes once the limits are lifted. In all honesty unless something major changes the limits being lifted will have almost no impact. Limits have never once stopped a sell out and do basically nothing to keep big boys from getting what they want.

Quote: Had you been trying to buy right at 12:00, like the rest of us, you would have thought differently. I did start at 12:00; finished at 12:13, outside in a car, and 2 out of 5 bars reception on my phone. I was VERY surprised!

I ordered the proof gold, and both versions of the silver dollar & half dollar. I had originally said I would skip the gold and the 5 ounce puck, but changed my mind on getting a gold coin.

Weird that several people say that their 5 oz coins aren't shipping as my email shows a total for all coins that I bought and a tracking number under each item including my saucers.

When I ordered earlier, the mint page did show the pucks on back order.

Well, I'm a BIG Apollo fan. And have an Apollo collection of autographs, and all kinds of Apollo memorabilia. These coins will be a GREAT addition to my coin and Apollo collections combined. Love the designs, will keep them forever, and I think once the general public sees them, they will become a lot more popular.

Yeah, so I am curious to see if they really shipped. My order was placed during the first 5 minutes, so I don't know whether to expect them or not. Guess I will see in a few days...or maybe a few months.

I didn't order any of the 5oz'ers, but my order is in Fedex's hands and scheduled to be delivered by the 2nd.

Tagging off the AirTite questions, is there a holder for these coins? I detest the mint packaging, but want something very protective (not a slab), Thoughts?

Received notice last night that my order has shipped, minus the PUCK.
Also, a signature is required, which I find strange, but maybe because UPS is handling it, and not USPS.

It's based on the value shipped. https://catalog.usmint.gov/customer...hipping.html"Orders with merchandise valued at $300 or more, or orders containing any precious metals, will require an adult signature upon delivery."

Quote: It's based on the value shipped. I thought that as well, but it's only $220, and I've that much, and a bit more from the Mint without a signature in the past. Maybe they have changed their policies.

Checked email... received my shipping confirmation last night and, like many others, the saucers weren't included (but Kennedy Sets were?). I have 4 pending charges/holds on my card from the mint at this point. o One for the full amount of my order on Thursday (I assume this one will go away) o One for the full order minus the saucers Friday o 2 zero-dollar holds today
