When searching for coins on ebay, I sometimes sort by "nearest first" just to see if anyone nearby is selling something I'm interested in. For one vendor, I asked if we could negotiate a deal outside of ebay (to save their fees), but they claimed they were out of town most of the time (I think it was likely BS). DoctorBurnzy Pillar of the Community United States 1378 Posts	Posted 11/27/2018 3:03 pm I bought this nice 1904 maritime painting over the summer off ebay and I looked down at the seller and it was a couple towns over... I saved a lot on the freight by picking it up. I didn't even know that was an option on ebay...nearby search hmmmmm.
