pginrh Valued Member Canada 456 Posts	Posted 01/29/2019 10:26 am Also the distance between the '9' and '4' is smaller and between the '4' and the '1/2' is likewise smaller for the narrow dates..For the wide date the distance between the '9' and '4' and '1/2' s In the wide date are greater and so DBM's comment above holds true. Narrow Date (the closer number spacing causes a wider gap between the "1" and the hoof). Also "4" is flared. Wide Date (causing a smaller gap between the "1" and hoof) - Straight "4".
