Hello Would like help identifying this coin. My first thought was India but I cannot find it in any book. Picture makes it look like a mess but it actually has some mint lustre. Regards, Gary
Thanks to all...I appreciate the knowledge. I am concluding it is the 29mm 1/2 anna coin. I do not know metric but it is a good 3/32 inch over 1 inch which, at .039 mm to the inch, figures way closer to 29mm than 26 I am thinking it is the 2nd issue...it is a thick coin. That's my story and I am sticking to it. Glad I found this forum and will spend some time here... Have some odd old world error coins well american too. Thanks again, Gary
