Is there any value to this coin or should I just hold on to it for now as a personal collectible?

I see a die chip in the 5 of the date, quite common. This coin is worth a couple of cents, that's it.

to the Forum.

There are Two die chips: one in the 5 of date and the other in the lower loop of the B of LIBERTY. Very common for that year and carry's no additional premium, but if you don't have one, I would keep it in the collection.

Hold on to it... but really depends on what you are collecting. It does have 2 die chips! But you will find many of these... they are pretty common.

Since it's a Wheat cent, it's still worth keeping.
