Depending where you look, the expensive variety is called Large 8 (PCGS) or bow tie only (Charlton). The trends price difference is huge.

This one of mine I believe is bow tie only (no cross) and large 8.

Yes all large 8's are bowtie, just like your coin.
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning...
