The V, E and S in Roosevelt was more where my focus was the letters seem to have that split everyone talks about but I am still new so I am uncertain about what that actual split looks like in person

Coinfrog, no, that's actually Machine Doubling. This is extremely common on the ATB Quarters. A spender, as Machine Doubling isn't collectable or vaulable (to the true variety collecters anyways).

I read somewear that over half of the ATB Quarters have this MD
so it is probably harder to find one that doesn't have it.

According to my test 70% had some/large amount of doubling. Only 30% were normal without MD. Do you know where to look for doubled dies on the States and the ATB Quarters. On the central areas of the design.

Earlobes and center of the reverse design.
