My third and final coin for identification.
The diameter is 24.85mm and weighs just under 5.9 grams (5.8967).
It has a reeded edge.

I don't believe it's Japanese but rather from Taiwan
I think it's a 1 yuan
but I'm not sure
someone with way more info will chime in soon

Thank you for the welcome and all for your help on this. It has had me stumped for quite a while, specially as I was looking under Japanese coins in Numista et al. I have been in the deep end the last few weeks identifying and recording the 900+ coins I have inherited (twenty years ago!) and I have learned a great deal. I just needed some experienced eyes to name these last coins, thanks again.

I don't like the appearance of this coin, it has the looks of a cast coin.
