PCGS - In 1864, the Philadelphia Mint produced two versions of the Two Cent Piece, the small and large motto. Out of the nearly 20 million minted for the year, there are a few scarce and sought after varieties. This hard to find variety, FS-1301, exhibits clearly visible with tripling to the left of the 1, and 8.
I wish they had done this on the FS-1901 1864LM clashed on reverse with an Indian Head cent, a much cooler variety in my eyes. At least they are giving some love to my favorite coins series this week!
