Obverse..Youthful male head right between two dolphins. Reverse..Celtiberian legend SEKAISA beneath horseman galloping right, holding spear. Located in the middle valley of the river Ebro. Its capital was Sekaisa (near to present day Belmonte de Gracián in the province of Zaragoza) The prefix sek indicates "strong" or "prominent." I believe it is ACIP 1562, the portrait with three level hair. 1563 is nearly identical except the guy has a two level hair style. ACIP describes the legend as number 7 which is slightly different than the one you show. Number 7 has no cross bar in the A like symbol. Congrats. Report this Post to the Staff
