I lost interest in quarters after the 50 states. I have a few of the America the Beautiful coins but only what I get in Circulation. Its worth it to me to complete the folders but only what I find in my change. I wouldn't pay for uncirculated coins.

I'm ok with this if it gets more young people into the hobby.
I only ever met 2 coin collectors near my age and its quite depressing. Besides that the rest are all 3x my age more or less. Not good for future of the hobby at this rate. IMHO.

They clearly differentiate to "youth sports" so theres that I guess.
I'm not thrilled about it to say the least. Probably just doing it as "youth sports" to avoid any kind of professional organization from suing about something and try to kill all branding.
I dunno.. wait and see I guess. That's true you actually could do several different ones for the youth sports like for baseball you could have T-ball, coach pitch, little league, 70 foot intermediate field, then big field and football with flag/touch/tackle etc. It shouldn't have been a licensing issue as they have done baseball before a few times and the leagues only have the rights to their actual league not the sports. I think they probably think the youth aspect is something knew or would appeal to kids more. Who knows maybe they'll look fantastic, the youth part just struck me as rather weird |

Unlikely to happen. The law permits another round of Statehood Quarters or it reverts to a specific Washington design. As I read the OP they are talking about just ten coins ONE coin each year for ten years, 4 animals, a coin the mark the 25th anniversary of the country, they four for youth sports and the last coin would either be an animal OR a your sport. so they are NOT talking about a 4 design per year program like we currently have.
