So my youngest daughter was born in 2010, first year for the shield cent.
My oldest daughter was born in 2008, last year for the original design sac dollar.
I'd like to put together a custom dansco album, shield cents for the younger and sac dollars for the older, and was hoping that with your help I can put together the comprehensive checklist for each?
For example, I know I will have the P and D for each, as well as the proofs.
I'd like to include the 2005-2010 satin finish coins, any reverse proof, any enhanced uncirculated etc, etc, etc.
If there are any others I should include, please let me know!
I'm working on a checklist for each collection which I will share and add/subtract as appropriate.
Thanks in advance for any help!!

If you check NGC and PCGS registry sets it will list the items in any type of set, along with prices, # graded for basic rarity evaluation, and notes on particular items in the set. It's a great way to prepare to purchase ANY kind of set, even if you collect raw coins.

Greasy Fingers, why do you say that? Because they are dollar coins VS cents? Just curious!
I'm going to get them each a dansco with blank pages and we will use a label maker to label the holes for each coin.

Yep, dollars vs cents..and are you going to continue the sac dollars past 2008? because the mint has been adding so many more finishes on them then the cent..Anyway should be great family time and a way to always remember dad..

He's stopping at 2008 with the dollars. If the cents go ad infinitum, they'd be the winner :)
