sorry for the delay in responding ,but like a good numismatist I did not have examples of slabbed coins in my gallery .
coin shots through slab plastic is a little tough but with the right set up and some patience they turn out pretty good .
In order to get reasonable photo's of coins in slabs through the plastic you have to difuse the light ,, I use a simple set up so I just tape a sheet of white copy paper over my light sources .
when you do this try and stay about 5 inches from the target to allow all the light you can into the photo but difused (without glare ).
I just took this photo and did not set up on my tripod or copy stand I hand held the camera so I could get a good idea of the light I was getting .
