Thinking behind it, although I could and most likely am wrong is: Paper Currency has a short (several years) lifespan before they are worn out, pulled from circulation and replaced. So if most people Don't think there valuable and spend them, then they get worn out, pulled from circulation and replaced, then the nice ones I pulled and protected years earlier will Become collectable and valuable.
