I'll try to swing by Steve as promised, just have to put your address into the navman and it should find it for me,just a short story about going to the coiltek shop in Maryborough and the navman. I put the Maryborough address into the navman at the start of the trip, half way through the trip it took me down a track that finished at a farmers gate the easement was there but no sign of a road or track passed the farmers gate so I had to turn around and go back the way I came in,it keeps on telling me to do a you turn and go back so they don't work all that well in the country oh this was the updated version.
Edited to put aU in before turn and it keeps adding you

It's not just in the country either. We were using the GPS on the wifes phone and it told us to go straight ahead at T-junction, but there was a park in the way. We had to follow the park around and then continue on. Give me a map book anytime. Steve

Cool rig Harry, that thing looks a heck of a lot more comfortable than my Jeep. Sorry no nuggets. Think you'll do better in the west. Have my fingers crossed for good luck. Did not expect to see ya back on here so soon. Figured you'd be gone for a few months. So now I missed some stuff. Been super busy at work also. I really like the photos so keep those coming. Gives me something to look forward to if I ever make it there. WOLF

Harry, don't forget to take a big envelope with you and get it cancelled at every town. It will make a nice keep sake. Steve

Yes good idea Steve but haven't the time,It's going to be head down and you know what up trying to reach the bush camp before Christmas, also my fossicking partner (who is driving his own car towing the camper trailer)Vic won't want to stop at every town on the way there and back. I'm also towing a box trailer with my generator, shower floor, petrol, water, spare tyres, gas bottles and last but not least the thunder box,so you see parking in any town with all this gear always makes it hard to find a parking spot big enough to take the 4X4 and trailer. Not a problem Wolf work does tend to get in the way LOL and yes it is very comfortable ride,oh by the way a 69 oz nugget came out a few months back from the same country I'm heading into so I know there's some there so I just need to get on to it . regards Harry

Thanks for your thoughts, Wolf. We are safe in W.A, but the eastern states are suffering badly. I heard from Harry on Saturday, he and his friends have found a couple of ounces and will be travelling to Perth in the next couple of weeks. Can't wait to meet Harry and have a few Jim Beams. Steve
