I've heard the term bullying several times on this thread. I'm guessing you're just having some fun because although a member's opinion may differ from yours, I personally have not experienced any bullying here on CCF.

@Steve,

The "bullying" is a joke between a few posters and I. I had started a Canadian Small Cents collection and several posters "bullied" me into starting a large cents collection. The bullying consisted of giving helpful advice and getting even better prices from a few posters. It's tongue in cheek. There is no bullying. But since several posters are on it, it's my funny way of thanking the posters for the helpful advice. Now I don't want you to start "bullying" me into getting low serial number currency

DID you know they have gold Mercury dimes?

I did! In fact, I have one (although not slabbed like yours).

My local coin shop had both in the OGP and case and slabbed for exactly the same price. Since I didn't care about the case and the cost was the same I went with the one that I knew was PF70.

In the case of the 2016-W Gold Mercury dime, it would be SP70, but we understood what you meant.

I found a few more I like and that are in my price range (which is low)

Every time I look at the note Coin Frog posts I want to get one like the Frog, then I realize I won't. But its all good either way

I got my currency book and a storage box and some currency holders. I moved all the currency to individual holders and put them in the storage box. I also have some reading for tonight.

I know some people don't like to read books, but having a source is important to me.

Yes, very nice. I like those red currency holders as well. And I still like books in the non-digital format too.

I just put these on order:

$1 Dollar Silver Certificate - 1928 DA in VF (I believe this is a funnyback)
$10 Dollar Silver Certificate - 1934 C BA in VF
$2 - 1976 DA in CU
$2 - 1995 FA in CU

*the $2 are replacements for beat up $2 that I had already had.

Squirrel why you always "bullying" me?

Thanks! I was looking at the fractional currency. Some pretty nice designs, question what is a typical size?

One of my collector buddies found out I liked currency so he has a few duplicates he wants to "get rid of", so I may pick up a few more. I just need to see the condition.

Looks ike a good start, but now you need to add a large size note!

While a lot of them are expensive, the 1923 $1 Silver Certificate and the 1899 Black Eagle are pretty affordable.

Are you all psychic? I found a 1923 large $1 Silver Certificate in VF for a good price, but I'm still trying to complete the Indian Heads in AU/MS so the large bill needs to wait.

Since my local coin shop opened up after 6 weeks, I made a pilgrimage and got a few things. First off was an upgrade on a few $2 bills.
