the mint mark is struck extremely light, not really sure its there. need second opinion.

It is the Philly version. What you're seeing as a possible mintmark is circulation damage that may appear to be a mintmark.

Just a normal 1982-P small date copper. These are pretty common to find. Took a lot of damage though. Probably a parking lot coin.
