Thoughts, grade, and value?

This is kind of testing the price guide of VV as well. I want your opinion on it's value. Certainly not looking to sell any of these coins, just testing the price guide.

Thanks so much!

I'll say MS-63RB.

MS-63+ brown. I like the toning, and nice clean fields on the reverse!

Agree, BN is more likely on this coin.

Nice coin. Thinking strong MS62--a few modest dings. Are those light scratches in the field around the date?

Thank you everyone with your input. I agree with it.

But when it comes to the price, according to VV it's over $50 which seems far too much. Is the VV price guide just kind of flawed?

I take VVs price list with a grain of salt...best not to scroll down that far....

Price what a normal (non error)coin in that grade would be, then add for the error..larger the error, larger the premium

Thanks a lot Greasy Fingers!

I will certainly keep that in mind next time. Any tips to determine what a specific variety is worth by itself (not including the grade)?

I've figured that Coppercoins is pretty accurate imo

MS-63 BN sounds about right for grade. As for value, perhaps $10-$15.

ebay sold values is a very good way to get an idea on real world values.

Thank you all for the advice

@John1 I try to do that but it can be rather difficult to find specific varieties on ebay
