My first thought, after looking over both images for a solid minute, was that it was an uncirculated coin. BTW, I like to review these "cold," so I never read any comments first, not even those of the original poster. In other words, I scrolled right to the images FIRST, and then I read your opinion on MS-63, and then the other opinions. I agree with the others that there's a lack of luster, but to me it seems more like a veil of tarnish than wear from circulation, especially given some nice luster is present at the high points on both sides. But again -- I'm VERY new to this! Also, I know nothing at all about dipping / over-dipping, or how to scan for it. Gotta do some research there. My $0.02! Report this Post to the Staff
