I picked up 10 uncirculated 1950-D Jeffeson Nickels at work today.

I like Jeffersons but not real strong on them. 7 of the 10 will go in a trade. 3 I'll keep and Ilked this one. Light golden tone, relatively mark free and strong steps although hard to represent in the scan.
Problem is a dark spot on his cheek. So I'm asking what would you all grade this one?

Medium Strike MS 63 or a liberal MS 64 toned with 4 and 1/2 steps. J.M.H.O.

Little cheeky (unless thats on the 2x2) but overall nice. Very strong MS63++++. Probably get a 64 most of the time at the grading God's companies.

Im not sure whats up with the pillars on the coin ? but to me it would not go over a 62 if that is a true represntation of the reverse , and with the hit crossing the steps its not likely to get credit for the 4 and what looks like 1/2 steps .

Thanks Metalman and everyone else.

Although not a Jefferson collector per se I do have enough of them. My real reason for picking these up WAS for trading.

I've got a want list on my fridge and just so happens the guy loves the 50-D. He's got a few things I want so viola instant trade material.

Not sure what I'll do with the others. Not a coin I mind having a few of.

I'm impressed by the grading expertise on this forum, because I don't have much of a clue here.
Nice coin to me! I was struck by what appears some weak lettering on the reverse, but that's probably the photo?
