Expired cards... that is a VERY good point! Hopefully they will send out emails to purchasers... and hopefully those don't get lost in the world of SPAM-folders!

Nevermind. All 6 coins on ebay is going for $2,000. Is it me or does buying a 2011 ASE 5 coin box only sound really good to put the Morgan collection in? I wonder how hard it would be to fill in the top and polish it so it doesn't say American Eagle 25th Anniversary Silver Coin Set.

I definitely had the same thought. I think it's a good presentation option.

I guess I need to get one. If I can get one of my local companies to engrave it as well I wonder how much people would want it for as an alternative to the little box it comes in. But if I can fill in the ASE letters and replace it with Morgan 100th anniversary set info and maybe an engraving of the obverse and reverse to the left and right of the mint logo that would be really neat. Unfortunately the boxes are about $35 each right now. But hey its worth trying for my collection. I would like to present them all in one collection instead of 5 different boxes.

The box idea is nice but those boxes take a lot of space. I'm probably keeping them in the OGP and store with my regular ASE.

The new OGP sucks big eggs, just a crappy little plastic insert. I'd look for a better presentation method and likely will.

I called the mint a few months ago about the Morgans I ordered in May . I told them my CC was going to expire before they bill me and ship. I was told I will receive a call when the order is processed if there is a CC issue. I sure hope they contact me. I tried t give them another CC with a later expiration date but they would not accept it.

I've got that problem with my cc and o order. My old card expires this month and I hadn't received my new one yet, so I went ahead and ordered anyway hoping they would make arrangements to update the information.
I called customer service and they told me there was nothing they could do to help. They also told me they had been getting a lot of calls like mine.
When my new card came it had the same number, the omly change was the new expiration date.
I entered it as my primary payment card and I'm hoping it goes through being as it has the same number.
I guess I'll find out in October.

That is a great Idea. I'm going to break out my 2011 set and have a good look at the box.

I'm glad people don't stay quiet Suck It Up and accept something that isn't working or fair. Collectors complained about the first Morgan releases, the Mint responded, lowered the household limit, released a statement and did some better this time. In this Nation I'm thankful We The People can complain and should when our government fu..s up. So I will not Suck It Up.

Hopefully when you all get your new cards, you can just update it in your profile and the Mint will use it when they ship. I would hope they had that much forward thought, but then again...

I have to agree about the order limits but otherwise the mint has been working fine. I was in and out in 4 minutes.

I'm curious about the people who are still mad about suck it up. Perhaps they've never tried buying tickets to a Rolling Stones concert.
