HI all, another newbie question:

What happened to this 2020 penny to get those two shiny curved scratches? Maybe the locations line up with a wrapper? If so, what could have made such deep(ish) scratches?

Curious... again... probably nothing at all interesting but still... curious...

That circular arc is caused by a Coin Wrapping Machine damaging the coin. Tends to happen with coins that are at the ends of wrappers--not always, but it does happen.

Now that I know what the markings are all about, into the spare-change it goes!
