http://img474.imageshack.us/img474/...ln0028vm.jpg This is a 1945 penny that for some reason is very rough and light. The coin only weighs 2.7g. I did a little looking around and the only penny that light is a 43. Anyone have an answer for this? I will add a picture of the side of the coin. any help would be great. thank you

It looks like your penny spent some time in a caustic solution. Some kind of acid probably....
