I've got several different cents similar to that one. Some have Lincoln smoking a pipe, some have zodiac signs, different U.S. state outlines, "I Love You" within a heart, a profile of J.F.K. facing Lincoln. Then there are coins that someone has punched different shaped holes through, such as a heart, cross, shamrock, etc. One could probably assemble a pretty interesting collection of after-mint alterations.
They are called "counterstamps" and are very common and can often be found in change. There are hundreds of different ones and some people collect them, paying 50 cents to a few dollars for them.
