Most likely a die crack. I don't know the difference very well. I guess you just have to wait for the coop on this one.

i think a die crack results in a raised "crack". not sure though, I'm new too.

No, it is a lamination issue. First time I've seen this on a dollar before. Note images #3 and #4. That shows the lamination definitely.

Excellent lamination! Not often you see lamination errors on ultra modern coins.
