I heard there was a single 2007, rev of 06. How could one guy be so lucky to find it!?

Not familiar with that one actually. Only knew about the 2008W burnished with reverse of 2007 from some links I saved

@ datadragon: That was a joke, I went fishing and you took the hook.

the 2006-W and the 2007-W both have the same reverse.. (and yes, some of the 2008-W had the rev of the 07 and is the variety.)

, good one

Yes its late and when eaglebub7 added that there was a single one, I just thought to ask... Besides, everyone knows the 2007W with reverse of 2006 was gold layered at the US mint

The last couple years I got my bullion from JM Bullion and got the "mint sealed", they "sort of " encapsulate them and really cherry pick the nice ones. Then I put them in my own Guardhouse caps.
There are years when the production was through the roof on ASEs that it's really hard to find bullion where they don't look milky or hazy. Not milk spots, but don't have a nice shine either. I have yet to find a 2010 I'm happy with. Seems like the planchets were really bad starting around 2007 up to maybe 2012.
But it's sort of fun.
I'll get the current issue in January or February, whenever I get it. Then I'll look them all over and decide which other one gets booted out of the set this year

Me, Me...I did and I keep up with them on an annual basis...BU ofcourse and some Proofs! Whew!

I hate it when I start a series late and have to play catch-up. I've done that with Chinese Panda's and boy howdy the older dates are/were pricey!

"Mr" Dearborn! (pssst JH, they aren't going to get any cheaper - get that '23! soon)

Another winner Thanks for posting it. I really do enjoy looking at your collection. I also liked looking at that collection I mentioned earlier with all the different varieties in it which of course may only appeal to certain collectors. Then there are these interesting ones out there that just come up from time to time. I just saw this at my local coin shop but ultimately passed on it this go round. It was this one with limited mintage of 777 pcs worldwide..."Artificial Intelligence" edition dedicated to the American Eagle with a "Glow-in-the-Dark" effect. This Type-2 variety American Silver Eagle coin was originally struck by the U.S. Mint. After leaving the Mint, the coin was ennobled by the Germania Mint with a dramatic colorized glow-in-the-dark design honoring the technology of Artificial Intelligence. Thats why I passed since it wasnt 'official' but some who stop by here might like it more. Curious what the classic collectors think lol.

That is a good idea too, but, I'll try JD Bullion first as I get a 'Military discount with them, and of course my LCS too

I already have the Bullion - got that one a few months ago. It is the (W) Burnished (uncirculated) one I'm waiting on the Mint to release.

I sure hope not (with the uncirculated ones anyway)
I have about 25 of the Bullions got get - as I just decided to get started on these. At first I only wanted to proofs, but now I want EVERYTHING.

Yeah, I'll try to get a better image on another day, the Natural lighting I usually use to help with diffuse lighting is not ideal as it is completely cloudy here and VERY windy. (the high temp is only 81 today! Brrr. 2 days ago it was at a nice 99 degrees.

yeah, me too - I was serving in the NAVY when these first came out and had no idea that they existed until years later. But THAT is all water under the bridge now, ain't it?

I think I addressed it all..

@ Data,

Generally I do Not collect Colorized Coins, , Some are Very easy on the eyes, I Saw. The PURPLE Heart Silver Dollar I collect, That is My Point, Special to Whom, Me personally, No Thanks. Except if its an Originally Issued from the Mint coin, Period.., Just Not IMO, into Sensationalizing or Marketing the Coin, under a " second chance ".

My parents, May they Rest In Peace, Willed me some coinage when they passed, Colorized ASE's, I felt they were Taken in by the Sensationalism of the Coin, they probably paid Far Too Much for it..... ,,,,,, I just know the Minted OGP ASE's are My Dish, Any and All Mint Marked U S Mint Issued Coins..... Thanks for the Links....

Dsking, You collect PANDA'S Too..... They were Difficult Yes, started collecting them in the 2000's the 198's were Tough PROOFS are Awesome Too..... I am not sure the PANDAS were going to last as long as they did... I lost track of that Diversion..... Do you still collect them , are they still a Minted Coin(s)? The 80's coins are Still Pricey Too..... Keep up the ASE Hunting, Every Single Mint Issued Coin(s)........ Some of us Were There... From the Start!!!!

DB, May I ask, Are you sure there are No Missing Uncirculated Coins, Come On, Really

PS, Your posted 2011 Uncirculated West Point Minted Shown Coin has a Gouge on the Plate on the Reverse, WT ? Looks Deep Too...... Really...

Yeah, I saw that on the fields by 1oz. I think it is a carbon spot. this coin came from the mint like that in the 5 coin OGP set. I may replace it later on.
Am I missing any uncirculated ASE's? I don't think so, BUT, I'll go do some research and find out if I am, Maybe Gilly can point me in the right direction there.

I'll give it a look over. I have a PDF file I made up myself as reference.
Without looking at that, should be a W every year 2006 to 2022 except no 09-10. Plus the year we discussed with the S. No P Uncirculated ever
