I don't know it looks like an upside-down ball serif that they used. I just got done reading about them and started looking at some 70's pennies that I had separated by year to go through and noticed this. And where do you find pictures to go off.

This looks correct. Go to Variety Vista and look up mint mark styles under LMC doubled dies.

Not a ball serif.
1970-S-1c-Imm-Error
Just the normal MMS-008 (Tall Mintmark) was used that year.
