Seems like the first 8 is much wider than the first 8 on the left side
What's-Going-On-With-8-In-1882. It looks like there is no damage around the 8.

That coin does not appear to be high grade. Circulation mashed the 8.

I agree, it appears to be a compression crush hit on the first '8'.
