You noticed something was off and it took a whole different direction. Just goes to show, you never know. But something did not look right. Making anything possible. A keen eye and shared knowlege makes great discoveries. I am anxiously awaiting the info coming your way.

I have been taking pictures of ALL my coins for documentation. If not for that, I don't think I would have noticed the difference between the obverse and reverse.

Well, today is the day for the big article. Just waiting on Mike Diamond to send me the link to the story. Since I don't have a paid account with Coin World, I cannot go and search for the story. If anyone of you out there that does have an account, could you please post it up here?

Posting the entire article undoubtedly violates copyright law, but I'm not Coin World's enforcer. I doubt they'll see it, and if they do, they may regard it as a helpful lure to attract new subscribers. "Fair use" laws allow people to summarize articles and post snippets.

Personally, I never post articles in their entirety, for the above-stated reasons. Removing it is up to you, your conscience, and your concerns about copyright infringement.

Congratulations to both @Dearborn and @Mike Diamond for the article. Hard to believe this started a few weeks ago with some fretting about scratches on the coin's reverse! Now, @Dearborn, what to do about TPG verification/confirmation/attribution?

That might be my next move is to send it off to a TPG. I am a member of PCGS, but will they recognize the error on the reverse? For now, I'm just waiting for it to return to me. (it's in the mail)
