Found this interesting coin in a roll. It looks like a piece of the coin flaked off. Is it damage or error?

Thanks as always...

Not a chip, a chip would be raised.
Looks like a small Struck Through Grease.

It is not flat... it is concave.

What's the black area ? Is it grease that's pressed/fused into the coin ? Don't clean it if it is. Or corrosion ?

I don't know how to tell what the dark spot is. I thought it was corrosion or dirt.
