What To Do With Uncirculated Bank Wrapped Kennedy Rolls

ewaggincc New Member United States 2 Posts	Posted 12/17/2021 05:12 am I stumbled into what appears to be uncirculated bank wrapped Kennedy rolls from my bank. Four of the rolls are bicentennial D mint; one roll is 1971-D. I opened one of the bicentennial rolls and the 1971-D roll. All of the coins in each roll are identical, with great luster and gem BU condition. The outer faces of the roll enders are not in as good a shape as the interior coins. How should I go about selling these, in order to get the best return? If these coins grade MS65, are they worth what is down in the PCGS price/pop report? Report this Post to the Staff

John1 Moderator United States 56855 Posts	Posted 12/17/2021 07:40 am . In order to justify all costs involved in sending them in,each coin need a retail value after slabbing of at least $100 to $150. captaincoffee Pillar of the Community United States 600 Posts	Posted 12/18/2021 11:16 am Looking at recent sales, slabbed MS65 coins like these (Kennedy '76-D/\71-D) are likely to sell for less than the cost of grading. Even MS66 will be borderline IMHO. You could try to sell them individually for a few bucks each, but for me the juice isn't worth the squeeze. Maybe try to sell by the roll. It appears BU rolls of 20 coins go for $19-$29. Report this Post to the Staff
