Found this on ebay and it would fit perfectly in my collection, I did the internet research and it seems genuine to me, but wanted to get expert opinions. It is genuine? THANKS!!
Appears to be an authentic example with likely original surfaces, although the uniform colored fields might indicate a long ago cleaning and re-toning going on here.
I say it's a lovely candidate for your growing circulated set. If I were still looking for an example I would not hesitate to purchase this one - especially if there is a return privilege in case something is off once in hand.
My judgement is the coin grades in the VF range, say VF25 although arguments could be made for VF20 or VF30. It's a nice looking example of a well circulated Vermont.
Compare to my PCGS G06 Vermont. Let us know how this turns out for you.
