1962 P Washington Doubled Die Obverse / DDO FS-101 PCGS MS-65

Willburton Pillar of the Community United States 2558 Posts	Posted 02/03/2022 8:12 pm This is one of my favorite Washington doubled dies. I'm pretty sure it's a quadrupled die. 62 was a terrible year for Washington's. Most of them are in the 63-64 range. This one is a top end 65 imo. I have three of these all PCGS MS64, this makes four and I got such a good deal on it I can sell one of my 64s and pay for this one! There's only four graded higher and I doubt I'll be finding a 66 or better, so glad to have it. Thanks for looking. Report this Post to the Staff

I bought one other DDO from this generation of holders and it was labeled the same. I sent that one back in for a better label on the holder and a spot on the CoinFacts app. I've got two other Washington's coming in the mail. One is a FS-101 MS67. Super excited!
