Hello,

This is the only Morgan dollar I own. I bought it today at a fair price; I do not encounter many genuine Morgans (I live in Italy). 90% of the Morgans I come across are fake; obvious fakes.

As a new collector, I am still learning and want some more experienced eyes to judge this coin.

I know it's a common date and inexpensive. But, is it bullion level because if the staining? Or is there any numismatic value in it? How does it look? $25-35 a fair price?

My feeling is ... Common, low eye appeal, nice-ish reverse. Any thoughts to help guide me would be appreciated!

Thank you all!

Since it doesn't appear you are asking about specific varieties, I'm asking moderators to move into the Classic Coin grading forum.

I think the first coin appears to be a lower grade coin than the second and would likely be worth in the $30 range. The second coin may be at or near MS grade and, so, worth a little more. If you could get clearer photos of the second coin, it may help pin down the grade better.

Thank you @Bump. I am completely new to Morgan dollars and only bought these two this weekend, so I am trying to feel out the market for these, learn some history, trust my insincts, and see what-is-what.
