Im looking to get this 1942 penny and was just wondering how much these spots would detract from the grade?

I mean. I can get it for 25 bucks, I'm also sending acouple coins in for conservation at anacs so even a PR64 would cover the grading and purchase fee.

I'm with John1. Find a better one without carbon spots. This one will never clean up to a point where it would straight grade.

Terminal black corrosion from what I can see. It cannot be removed without revealing a new spot where the metal is damaged.
