commems CCF Master Historian of USA Commemoratives United States 12274 Posts	Posted 09/02/2022 10:42 am In 1994, the US Mint released the dual-dated Thomas Jefferson 250th Anniversary of Birth Silver Dollar (a year after the actual anniversary). Jefferson was born on April 13, 1743 in Shadwell, Virginia. He died on July 4, 1826 at his Monticello home in Virginia. The anniversary years of "1743" and "1993" - flank the left-facing portrait of Jefferson on the coin's obverse.
