1941 Wheat Penny - Significant Die Breaks?

Kama7737 New Member United States 26 Posts	Posted 08/08/2022 09:58 am Good morning, one of my favorite coins is my 1941 Wheat penny because of the unusual die breaks (?). I would think these unique lines and dents in the coin would have had to occur during the minting process. Not sure if this would be considered just a damaged coin or if it might have some value. The coin was worked over and punched with a punch that made incuse damage to puch out the reverse. As mentioned already, this is not a mint error, but damage to the coin. (the coin is now a cull coin, with even one mark on them, but are still a Wheat cent. Report this Post to the Staff
