Checking for opinion on whether this might be a VAM 2,3,9 or even 15.

Looks to me like the O is high and tilted right. I'm not sure if near date or not based on some photo comparisons I saw in VamWorld.

I'll lean toward 9.

Also, do you think it might make an AU grade or top out at XF?

I see it as VAM-9, the date and mint mark position match and I see the unusual die crack between A T.
Grade would be EF details, harshly wiped/ cleaned.
