SsuperDdave, Nice to see who you are. I have been curious for the last couple years because your photo earlier in the thread seems to have disappeared. SPP-Ottawa, Quote: And of course, photo of me in my element (geologist), conducting fieldwork in northern Canada Here is another photo of me sampling some dirty sandstone in the middle of winter a bit north of the Arctic Circle. Note the size of my rock hammer

It was about 15 March, 2013. So, I suppose that it was not exactly the true middle of winter, but not late spring either. The temperature was about -30 Celsius when this photo was taken and the time was about 1 pm local.

Its name is Fluffy (never heard if it was a boy or girl). On a recent trip, the resort had a demo/class about alligators. And with a small donation toward the conservation group, you got to hold it.

I don't have a lot of photos of myself because I don't like my photos taken. These are two of the few photos I have of me. This was taken earlier this year, at my high school graduation. I was 16, one of the younger ones in my class. This was taken sometime this summer in Jakarta. That's a 4.27 kg fish I caught. I don't know what it's called in English but it's called kakap putih in Indonesian. I caught it in a pond-thing, then you pay for it and you bring it home or they cook it for you for an extra charge (the place is a privately-owned business). I actually burned a couple of my fingers when the string got pulled away really fast by the fish because when I jerked the rod back I didn't realise my left hand was holding the string too (at this point, you probably know that I don't actually fish). The first fish of the day (some people had been sitting there since morning and got nothing) and a big one too! Usually it's only 1or 2 kg-ish and you can just keep pulling it in because it's not strong enough to swim away, this one is stronger. That fish was still flopping around when this pic was taken hence my weird posture because I didn't want to get fish water all over me.
