2000 P Sacagawea Coin With Reverse Lamination Issue?

drhscl Valued Member United States 57 Posts	Posted 12/02/2022 2:51 pm The color isn't altered and I think you are totally correct. It does look a bit reddish like copper. I hadn't even been thinking of the clad layer, but it definitely could be a possibility. I guess the area is to small to show enough of a change in weight beyond the normal range. Once I can get a better photo with the scope I'll resubmit to help you to see more clearly to be able to give a more definitive assessment.
